Maha Kumbh Mela 2025
The Maha Kumbh Mela takes place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from 13 January to 26 February. The Maha Kumbh draws over 40 Crore devotees as they seek to take a dip in the holy waters of Ganga.
The event starts on 13 January and millions of people are attending the grand event. The Government of Uttar Pradesh is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the success of the event.
Akshaya Patra’s Feeding Efforts at Maha Kumbh 2025
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has invited The Akshaya Patra Foundation to feed people attending the Maha Kumbh this year. With millions of people attending the Maha Kumbh, Akshaya Patra’s priority is to ensure that no one goes hungry. We need your support to feed millions of people visiting Prayagraj for the holy gathering on Maha Shivratri on 26 February.
Each meal costs ₹25
We serve 10,000 meals per day.

What will be served: Khichadi, pulav, jeera rice, theri, ghee rice with rajma subji, chole subji, dal and pickle or jaggery
