Campaign Overview

A nutritious meal is the right of every child. But some of them are not so provileged to have it .I have created this campaign  to provide meals to the children through Akshaya Patra . The  Akshaya Patra Foundation a non-profit organization that operates on a public-private partnership (PPP) model. Akshaya Patra acts as an implementing partner of the Mid-Day Meal Scheme and is supported by the Government of India, the State Governments, and associated organizations. Akshaya Patra’s school lunch programme has grown from feeding 1,500 children in the year 2000 to over 2 million children in 2022. On 11 February 2019, the organization commemorated the serving of 3 billion meals (cumulative). This fundraiser is an attempt to create awareness about the cause of ' Food for Education'.It will enable the organization to channel resources towards the on-ground intervention for food & nutrition security for underprivileged children.
