Campaign Overview

Our little baby turns 1 this week, and on this occasion, we thought of starting a tradition that on every birthday we donate to a certain charity. The idea is that once she grows up, we can tell her about it and perhaps by then she can also pick a charity of her choice and donate. Just hoping to inculcate a habit of giving and sharing from the start. For the first one, we decided to pick Akshaya Patra, an Indian foundation that works towards eliminating classroom hunger by implementing the Mid-Day Meal Scheme in the government schools and government-aided schools, aims at countering malnutrition and supporting the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children.
