Campaign Overview

Covid -19 has brought the world upside down for the majority of the population in India. Getting one meal a day for many became a struggle. Loss of livelihood led them to look for help and migrate from here to there.

To help the vulnerable as well as affected population, Akshaya Patra has been serving hot and nutritious meals across India, ably supported by BKT. We are reaching out to Covid patients as well as the Corona warriors with cooked meals.

The second wave is deadlier than the first wave and the need to get nutritious food is needed all the more. To serve meals to the affected population BKT has already committed $ 59,000.

BKT along with Akshaya Patra wants to serve meals to all the empty plates during this Pandemic. To keep this commitment, we request everyone to generously donate and help us help everyone who needs food here in India.

Your contribution of $ 500 will help us serve 1700 hot and cooked meals while $100 will help us serve 349 meals.We aim to raise 200,000 USD through this campaign 

Your contribution of 500 € Will help us serve 1930 meals while 1000 € will account for 3860 meals.
