Millions of school-going children in India are without a single proper meal every day. We are a group of professionals going on an expedition “Thin Air” to the Everest Base Camp in October 2019. We have chosen this occasion to spread awareness of this grave problem of hunger in children. Akshaya Patra is a non-profit organization that provides freshly cooked mid day meals across 16785 schools in India to over 1.7 million children.
