Akshaya Patra is India’s leading Public-Private Partnership, striving to promote access to education and to alleviate malnutrition in India through a mid-day meal program that today benefits 1.8 million children every day enrolled in 19,500+ schools from its 61 kitchen projects in 12 states and 2 Union territories in India. Akshaya Patra started its operations in the year 2000, serving 1500 children, and over the last 2 decades has served more than 3 Billion Meals.
