Campaign Overview

School children have been severely impacted by the crisis brought about by the pandemic. In this scenario, mid-day meal beneficiaries have been bereft of their daily school meals. As a result, there has been a depletion in their nutritional levels affecting their physical growth. To provide assistance to mid-day meal beneficiaries, The Akshaya Patra Foundation has initiated the Happiness Kits Programme. Each Happiness Kit supports their health and immunity. Apart from providing groceries, hygiene products, and educational supplies are also provided in each kit. Currently, Akshaya Patra is providing Happiness Kits to school children studying in Government and Government-aided schools. Currently, we are distributing Happiness Kits to our mid-day meal beneficiaries in Bengaluru, Jigani, Hyderabad, Thane, Silvassa, Jaipur, Vadodara, Lucknow, Vrindavan, Guwahati, Ballari, Hubballi, Mangalore, Pune, Surat, Bikaner, Udaipur, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, and Vizag. So far, 4 lakh kits have been distributed across India and we need your help to distribute 14 lakh more! A donation of just Rs.550 will provide one child with a Happiness Kit.
